CorMASS was brought back to working condition again today, and many productive observations were made first half. Everything worked fairly well; most cold-related problems from last night disappeared with the milder weather. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: J.Dembicky No problems 2nd half. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:01 cormass 350(866) 101 53 -2.4/-2.5 10 11 K 1.0 18:04 NA2gdr -3350(25650) 102 54 -2.6/-2.5 44 13 R 0.86 20:08 cormass 125(610) 148 73 -0.7/-2.0 1 20 K 0.5 00:25 Echelle 42(-342) -173 68 -0.3/-1.5 352 7 ND3 0.73 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 30 -4 7 51 (NE) 136 clear none 17:01 28 -9 18 4 (N) 158 clear none 18:01 28 -7 19 4 (N) 202 clear none 19:01 29 -6 11 356 (N) 199 clear none 20:01 31 -1 11 17 (NNE) 210 clear none 21:01 31 0 13 352 (N) 163 clear none 22:01 31 0 15 351 (N) 155 clear none 23:01 30 -3 13 8 (N) 238 clear none 00:01 31 1 0 328 (NNW) 121 clear none 01:01 32 4 10 341 (NNW) 87 clear none 02:01 32 5 19 301 (WNW) 81 clear none 03:01 33 8 19 298 (WNW) 45 clear none 04:01 33 8 13 321 (NW) 35 clear none 05:01 32 8 19 306 (NW) 50 clear none 06:01 34 4 20 295 (WNW) 71 clear none 07:01 34 1 20 296 (WNW) 87 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
