Winds for first half were from the north and seeing suffered a bit. NIC showed image elongation in the azimuth direction independant of focus even for very short exposures. Some guider images also appeared elongated. There was nothing suspicious on the dataq. Winds were light to moderate. Second half went well. There was one guider crash which I recovered from quickly. No downtime for this failure since it was less than 5 minutes. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- PU05 E I/S --:-- --:-- ecamera needed reboot/restart ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:57 nicfps 175(1157) 197 78 2.7/2.7 2 19 MK-H 1.0 18:00 NA2gdr -2281(42818) 202 79 2.8/2.7 6 10 R+nd2 0.74 19:33 nicfps 237(1252) -4 50 1.9/1.9 349 18 H2r-2.13 1.02 22:43 nicfps 200(1247) -18 41 2.0/1.7 14 13 MK_KS 1.33 00:08 Echelle 74(-197) -26 77 1.9/1.5 25 6 nd2 0.86 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 37 3 3 241 (WSW) 2833 mstly clr none 17:01 38 4 8 335 (NNW) 2499 mstly clr none 18:01 37 5 16 336 (NNW) 2559 mstly clr none 19:01 36 7 9 0 (N) 2675 mstly cldy cirrus 20:01 36 6 15 27 (NNE) 2567 mstly cldy cirrus 21:01 36 5 14 6 (N) 2258 mstly cldy cirrus 22:01 36 3 19 17 (NNE) 2028 clear none 23:01 36 3 10 5 (N) 1686 clear none 00:01 35 2 13 11 (N) 1271 clear none 01:01 35 3 12 27 (NNE) 1608 clear none 02:01 35 0 4 359 (N) 1120 clear none 03:01 34 1 2 247 (WSW) 1301 clear none 04:01 33 4 9 284 (WNW) 1461 clear none 05:01 34 0 6 301 (WNW) 1135 clear none 06:01 35 -11 14 330 (NNW) 513 clear none 07:01 35 -3 11 334 (NNW) 953 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
