We got an updated instrument block for the visiting instrument (NAIC). They noticed some motion in the X direction on the image but we attributed it to wind shake. It went away (or became random) when the telescope was move in a different direction. There is no weather info for tonight becaus of a problem with the weather computer not wanting to accept a command to display the weather stats on Marmot. PR was submitted. It was patchy clouds to start the evening and then cleared and became photometric for the majority of the evening. Very successful 2nd half with me getting all the requested SN targets. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:24 NAIC 75(1284) 41 60 11.2/13.1 131 14 20:27 NA2gdr -5444(29555) 40 61 11.2/13.0 128 15 R 0.87 22:09 NAIC 50(1135) -95 73 10.3/11.0 135 20 800nm 22:17 NA2gdr -7034(30065) -96 72 10.1/11.1 136 20 R 1.4 01:08 DISslit -75(887) -14 47 9.6/9.7 132 13 none 1.3 01:20 NA2gdr -2350(20650) -19 47 9.7/9.7 130 15 R 0.9 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
