The humidity looked as if it was staying just below closure limits so I decided to open at the end of twilight. Pointing was a bit off so I fixed that. I then got about 2.5 hrs of science before the humidity finally did shoot over the closure limits. Conditions stayed this way until 2AM when the humidity finally dropped below closure limits and I was once again able to open. We had some pesky cirrus for the last part of the 2nd half. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:20 DISslit 125(971) 64 66 10.8/14.5 85 13 none 2.8 22:15 DISslit 100(913) 40 50 10.2/11.1 102 17 none 1.8 02:11 SPIcam 75(1160) 68 64 9.6/10.4 115 7 g' 1.0 02:24 NA2gdr -143(28858) 63 66 10.1/10.4 102 5 R 0.86 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 59 45 8 101 (E) -- Pt.
