There was no great threat of precip the beginning of the night so we opened and got the cloudy night observations requested by D.York. We then were able to stay open due a sucker hole until 23:00 when the clouds became to thick and the humidity slowly climbed above the limits. We never reopened. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:58 dis-slit -175(938) 238 68 12.4/14.7 111 9 - 1.0 22:52 dis-slit -25(983) 100 75 12.1/12.5 86 7 - 0.97 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 60 46 6 212 (SSW) cloudy none 17:01 63 50 8 190 (S) cloudy none 18:01 56 49 8 87 (E) cloudy none 19:01 55 48 9 84 (E) cloudy none 20:01 54 47 8 85 (E) cloudy none 21:01 54 45 7 105 (ESE) cloudy none 22:01 54 45 7 87 (E) cloudy none 23:01 53 45 6 87 (E) cloudy none 00:01 52 48 10 80 (E) cloudy none 01:01 52 48 8 88 (E) cloudy none 02:01 55 44 0 61 (ENE) cloudy none 03:01 53 45 0 251 (WSW) cloudy lt. rain 04:01 51 51 9 128 (SE) cloudy none 05:01 52 51 6 121 (ESE) cloudy none 06:01 52 50 1 128 (SE) cloudy none 07:01 52 50 6 167 (SSE) cloudy none 08:01 53 51 7 169 (SSE) cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
