I closed just before the first sprinkles, which eventually led to a thunderstorm. The GFP was working properly tonight. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: B.Ketzeback Rained off and on for the first few hours of second half. We were able to open at 04:00 when the clouds quickly broke up. Everything went smoothly for the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:55 GFP 75(1304) 236 56 12.4/13.1 198 24 6599 1.35 19:58 NA2gdr 8000(33000) 236 55 12.6/13.1 202 19 R 1.15 04:31 gfp 50(1110) 276 72 10.2/10.1 205 17 6563 1.34 04:38 NA2gdr 454(33454) 102 80 9.4/10.1 199 18 R 0.9 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 54 38 14 182 (S) ptly cldy none 17:01 55 39 11 149 (SSE) ptly cldy none 18:01 54 39 14 204 (SSW) ptly cldy none 19:01 53 40 18 178 (S) ptly cldy none 20:01 55 40 21 198 (SSW) ptly cldy none 21:01 56 40 20 195 (SSW) cloudy lt rain 22:01 56 41 21 196 (SSW) cloudy rain 23:01 52 43 16 199 (SSW) cloudy rain 00:01 52 40 23 203 (SSW) cloudy rain 01:01 50 41 19 182 (S) cloudy rain 02:01 49 42 8 180 (S) cloudy rain 03:01 51 40 18 216 (SW) mstly cldy none 04:01 51 39 17 215 (SW) mstly clr none 05:01 49 41 13 205 (SSW) clear none 06:01 50 39 13 221 (SW) clear none 07:01 50 40 5 276 (W) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
