I had twilight flats in 3 filters and focused finished by 19:40. Seeing was excellent, I measuered 0.7 arc sec in r' without even checking focus. On the first Lens target the 2nd set (after the offset) the first image (r') was streaked in the Az direction. The guider was having some problems after the offset so maybe something moved while I re-acquired the star? Anyway I had lots of time, and only a few targets, so I re-did the first sequence when it finished. I ran out of Lens targets (with 0.75 arc sec seeing) at 22:00 and decided to switch program (UW08). The last target available didn't come into view until 00:00 and was a very low priority target (priority 0.5) anyhow. I spent about 20 mins diagnosing some TUI (alpha version we are using here) bugs after switching over to DIS before handing the time over to the UW08 program. The remainder of the night was spend chasing SN for UW08. The DIS slitviewer lost connection(?)/hung with the hub. A restart of it seemed to clear the problem. I don't know if that restarts the camera or just reconnects it to the hub. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW08 D I/H 00:10 00:20 DIS slitviewer hung.
