Lights were on on the lower level and intermediate levels of the telescope with no one around. I am assuming someone gave a tour(s) today and come back and close up. Another night of quickly changing conditions. We opened for much of second half. I spend much of first half watching the weather looking at radar and satellite images waiting for the clouds to break. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:16 SPIcam -200(1428) 168 77 16.1/16.5 184 12 clear 1.29 01:18 NA2gdr 1000(30000) 171 77 16.1/16.4 185 10 R 1.11 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 75 38 10 253 (WSW) 748 cloudy none 17:01 65 46 11 78 (ENE) 850 cloudy none 18:01 67 42 7 266 (W) 760 cloudy none 19:01 62 40 5 188 (S) 4058 cloudy none 20:01 62 39 13 208 (SSW) 1180 cloudy none 21:01 63 39 6 159 (SSE) 841 cloudy none 22:01 60 40 14 74 (ENE) 927 cloudy none 23:01 61 40 2 112 (ESE) 720 cloudy none 00:01 62 37 3 194 (SSW) 631 cloudy none 01:01 61 40 9 187 (S) 758 clear none 02:01 60 40 12 169 (SSE) 802 clear none 03:01 60 40 14 133 (SE) 598 cloudy none 04:01 59 39 10 174 (S) 576 clear none 05:01 58 40 6 181 (S) 663 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
