By 22:20 we closed due to approaching weather from the North. We stayed closed the remainder of the first half and had some light sprinkles around midnight. I am not sure if Don got anything really useful in the time we were open or not, the clouds were moving across the field. Remained cloudy until around 04:10 when I re-opened again. Seeing was variable and about 1.4 arc sec. We had a problem at the very end of the night with the echelle not wanting to abort an exposure correctly. PR submitted. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:11 Echelle -7(571) 232 59 19.1/20.3 179 1 none 0.85 04:22 Echelle 55(461) 232 57 16.6/16.2 160 14 none 1.4 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 67 47 6 127 (SE) 505 Cloudy none 18:01 71 45 3 234 (SW) 449 Cloudy none 19:01 68 46 6 208 (SSW) 397 Cloudy none 20:01 66 46 4 187 (S) 478 Pt.
