Huh? Why yes, in fact, I did edit this narrative! We opened before sunset for cooling. Weather was mostly clear for most of the night with poorish seeing in the evening which gradually improved to fairly good. Some herds of small puffy clouds wandered by after 03:00. Everything worked well except for the things that didn't. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:16 Echelle -400(533) 110 36 17.1/19.4 182 4 ND2 1.9 22:38 SPIcam -275(1580) 32 30 17.2/17.9 163 8 Ha 1.83 22:40 NA2gdr 56(29056) 32 31 17.2/18.0 152 10 R 1.5 01:39 DISslit -325(1250) 198 48 17.7/17.1 122 1 - 1.29 01:39 NA2gdr -3000(20000) 198 48 17.7/17.1 122 1 R 1.15 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 71 41 3 357 (N) 530 ptly cldy none 17:01 73 48 5 197 (SSW) 570 ptly cldy none 18:01 68 42 1 217 (SW) 598 ptly cldy none 19:01 70 44 6 268 (W) 697 ptly cldy none 20:01 66 41 3 262 (W) 534 mstly clr none 21:01 63 40 4 183 (S) 439 mstly clr none 22:01 63 39 5 177 (S) 479 clear none 23:01 63 39 8 147 (SSE) 459 clear none 00:01 63 38 4 182 (S) 424 clear none 01:01 62 38 4 180 (S) 462 clear none 02:01 65 38 2 189 (S) 475 clear none 03:01 64 37 4 262 (W) 472 ptly cldy none 04:01 62 37 6 193 (SSW) 424 ptly cldy none 05:01 62 37 4 185 (S) 525 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
