First half was busy opening and closing for waves of clouds and clear skies. Second half was mostly clear with some fast moving clouds between 0230 and 0330, however they were not threatening and we were able to stay open. The only problem to report was with the DIS instrument cart, which has become dangerous to operate when mounting the instrument. I filed a problem report. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:30 dis-slit -625(1028) 187 77 18.4/20.6 239 1 - 1.42 21:36 NA2gdr -4215(20884)195 80 18.4/20.5 228 0 R+nd2 1.14 00:20 dis-slit -300(1281) 282 57 17.6/18.0 189 7 - 1.15 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 75 37 5 258 (WSW) 612 prtly cldy none 17:01 78 35 17 259 (W) 738 prtly cldy none 18:01 77 31 5 266 (W) 590 prtly cldy none 19:01 66 39 10 70 (ENE) 392 mstly cldy none 20:01 61 38 13 67 (ENE) 378 mstly cldy none 21:01 61 38 4 88 (E) 477 cloudy none 22:01 63 35 6 84 (E) 561 mstly cldy none 23:01 62 34 6 86 (E) 800 cloudy none 00:01 64 34 5 202 (SSW) 750 clear none 01:01 63 34 6 202 (SSW) 612 clear none 02:01 62 35 10 211 (SSW) 559 prtly cldy none 03:01 59 38 12 194 (SSW) 433 prtly cldy none 04:01 59 39 11 204 (SSW) 401 clear none 05:01 59 39 8 204 (SSW) 399 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
