They released the instrument around 21:00 and I re-focused the telescope as well as corrected the pointing (it seemed a tad off). I tweaked focus thru the night. Typically between 0.9 and 1.5 arc sec. and a little variable at times. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:30 DISslit -50(1344) 66 64 12.1/14.0 268 17 none 1.5 21:07 DISslit -110(1219) 52 71 12.0/13.1 245 19 none 1.32 21:15 NA2gdr -2921(20078) 48 72 11.8/13.0 267 19 R 1.0 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 63 22 19 271 (W) 623 Clear none 17:01 62 15 22 268 (W) 460 Clear none 18:01 62 17 18 267 (W) 715 Clear none 19:01 59 17 19 271 (W) 907 Clear none 20:01 55 14 22 264 (W) 728 Clear none 21:01 54 14 12 258 (WSW) 712 Clear none 22:01 54 16 14 264 (W) 521 Clear none 23:01 54 18 12 264 (W) 473 Clear none 00:01 53 17 14 283 (WNW) 457 Clear none 01:01 52 16 14 272 (W) 570 Clear none 02:01 52 17 18 277 (W) 597 Clear none 03:01 50 18 19 268 (W) 593 Clear none 04:01 48 19 21 285 (WNW) 547 Clear none 05:01 47 19 11 306 (NW) 602 Clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
