I focused the telescope around 20:40 with around 0.9 arc sec seeing and pointing was pretty good. We switched over to NICFPS for the 2nd half a few mins early. Seeing was excellent, and stayed that way thru the night, at 0.7 arc sec in Ks and was below 0.6 arc when I checked around 03:00. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:43 Echelle 23(923) 53 70 19.6/21.5 265 11 ND2 0.91 00:58 NICFPS 125(2086) 46 73 17.7/18.4 301 13 Ks 0.60 01:04 NA2gdr 1456(38456) 42 74 17.6/18.3 308 16 R 0.67 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 75 30 3 243 (WSW) 1117 Mst.
