Seeing was sub-arc second to start the night. It degraded about 2 hrs into the night, but improved about an hour or so later and was back to sub-arc second for the remainder of the night. Don donated his last hour to the 2nd half program. The noise gremlin was present in the red DIS images again tonight. No problems otherwise. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:47 GFP 0(1340) 41 64 7.6/9.6 231 11 5010 1.1 20:55 NA2gdr 3962(28962) 37 65 7.6/9.3 243 9 R 0.8 03:23 DISslit -35(1029) 50 71 6.9/6.7 244 11 none 0.89 03:26 NA2gdr -1404(21595) 49 72 6.7/6.7 258 9 R 0.82 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 50 15 8 272 (W) 763 Clear none 19:01 50 16 11 271 (W) 738 Clear none 20:01 47 15 7 265 (W) 716 Clear none 21:01 46 16 15 239 (WSW) 833 Clear none 22:01 46 16 17 240 (WSW) 840 Clear none 23:01 45 15 11 236 (SW) 838 Clear none 00:01 46 15 10 268 (W) 767 Clear none 01:01 45 16 14 260 (W) 856 Clear none 02:01 44 17 15 266 (W) 881 Clear none 03:01 44 16 11 268 (W) 1121 Clear none 04:01 45 17 6 254 (WSW) 1359 Clear none 05:01 45 17 2 195 (SSW) 980 Clear none 06:01 44 17 5 277 (W) 738 Clear none 07:01 46 17 1 344 (NNW) 707 Clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
