Then dust, then clouds. Things finally moved out around 04:00 and I opened at 04:15. Again while I was trying to focus the NA2 guider tonight the shutter was causing problems. I guessed at the focus for the guider and handed the telescope over to the observer since we would be running out of time soon. The seeing was also changing rapidly so I didn't want to wait too long on focusing the guider with the shutter problem. No problems with the drives/run aways tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW06 O I/H --:-- --:-- NA2 shutter problems off and on again durning the entire night ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:27 DISslit -400(279) 69 63 -5.0/-2.7 287 17 none 2.7 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 49 12 27 235 (SW) 7282 Pt.
