The night started out with cirrus but then thinned out at sunset. We had waves of passing cirrus clouds until around 3AM when it just got too thick to observe the 2nd programs objects. We threw in the towel around 5AM when it was doubtful from the satellite image that we would open for the remainder of the night. The 2nd program gave a few minutes to the 1st program so that they could finish their observations. Otherwise a pretty uneventful evening. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:46 DISslit -75(1237) 279 30 7.5/8.9 180 20 none 1.13 20:49 NA2gdr -842(30157) 279 30 7.5/8.8 179 18 R 0.86 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 54 14 15 180 (S) 1008 Cirrus none 18:01 49 14 5 185 (S) 111 Cirrus none 19:01 45 14 12 137 (SE) 1075 Lt.
