Pointing was a little off on the Echelle, I did a correction to it before we got started with science on the first program. Everything ran fine otherwise with no problems 1st half. 2nd half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan When second half started, we had somewhat thicker cirrus lurking around. The scheduled program's targets were too faint, and their bright-target backup program was actually a continuation of CU02, so they kept going with the same setup and observer until the clouds thinned out considerably around 02:30. I left the time accounted as UC02. Seeing was poor first half but improved to sub-arcsecond around 03:00. Everything worked perfectly. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:06 Echelle -18(415) -73 39 5.5/8.0 149 12 ND3 1.56 21:44 DISslit -125(1035) -57 25 3.3/4.7 79 13 none 2.0 21:49 NA2gdr -1500(29500) -58 24 3.2/4.6 82 14 R 1.3 23:13 DISslit -50(893) 273 51 2.8/2.9 79 19 none 2.5 01:21 DISslit -25(839) 355 64 1.7/1.7 76 12 - 1.56 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 51 18 6 235 (SW) 1224 Lt.
