I spent the time trying (in vain) to get my web creation software to directly talk to our web server. Second half looked more promising with the system apparently mostly dissapated, but not dissapated enough. Clouds came and went and then came back a few minutes later. It was a check outside every 15 mins to see if things had improved enough to open or not. The cloudcamera was a bit deceptive as there were large masses of clouds just outside its field of view that kept sending more our way during the night. Finally around 03:25 it looked promising enough to actually open. No problems with the telescope. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:31 DISslit -125(735) 49 72 1.6/2.1 275 5 none 0.89 03:37 NA2gdr -2497(20502) 46 73 1.4/2.0 270 5 R 0.66 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 41 22 7 318 (NW) 592 Mst.
