The remainder of first half the dewpoint bounced around the limits erratically for several hours. High hmidity and gusty winds kept us closed until 0245 at which time Craig worked on guider software tests followed by Russet doing throughput measurements. We ran out of time to do much of anything else however during twilight we redid the grid portion of the instrument block for the Echelle Guide camera since some questions came up during the guider testings. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- EN01 E I/S --:-- --:-- ecam software crash, restarted icc EN01 E I/S --:-- --:-- ecam software crash, restarted icc EN01 E I/S --:-- --:-- ecam software crash, restarted icc EN01 E I/S --:-- --:-- ecam software crash, restarted icc ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:03 Echelle -75(-371) 230 66 -6.8/-6.5 64 22 nd2 2.1 04:03 dis-slit -100(358) 252 72 -7.1/-7.4 58 29 - 1.72 04:13 NA2gdr -1000(32100) 198 72 -7.0/-7.5 54 23 R+nd2 1.47 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 32 13 11 27 (NNE) 269 prtly cldy none 17:01 26 18 9 59 (ENE) 1287 mstly clear snow showers! 18:01 23 18 16 58 (ENE) 211 prtly cldy none 19:01 22 16 28 61 (ENE) 91 clear humid, windy 20:01 21 18 23 64 (ENE) 65 clear humid, windy 21:01 21 18 27 67 (ENE) 157 clear humid, windy 22:01 21 15 33 51 (NE) 108 clear humid, windy 23:01 20 17 29 66 (ENE) 100 clear windy 00:01 22 10 21 65 (ENE) 119 clear windy 01:01 22 9 29 60 (ENE) 162 clear windy 02:01 22 8 26 53 (NE) 145 clear windy 03:01 20 9 28 66 (ENE) 127 clear none 04:01 19 10 30 55 (NE) 119 clear none 05:01 20 7 16 60 (ENE) 98 clear none 06:01 22 1 11 15 (NNE) 160 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
