Clouds thickened until the observer was getting no more useful data (I decided to keep the building open but close the mirror covers, since it didn't look too threatening just cirrus). The clouds grew worse around midnight and I decided it prudent to go ahead and close the dome as well. We never re-opened the remainder of the night ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:50 Echelle -176(118) 69 63 5.6/7.1 239 19 ND1 1.5 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 52 5 14 246 (WSW) 226 Cirrus none 17:01 47 9 17 232 (SW) 363 Cirrus none 18:01 44 12 22 231 (SW) 487 Cirrus none 19:01 45 11 13 260 (W) 456 Cirrus none 20:01 44 12 18 221 (SW) 428 Cirrus none 21:01 43 14 19 238 (WSW) 723 Cirrus none 22:01 44 13 22 223 (SW) 664 Lt.
