Later we mounted FastCam2, Daughter of FastCam, and I got tons of data with it during second half. Craig also did lots of work with the guider software during the evening, sometimes in parallel with work on other instruments, sometimes superseding the other work. Skies were mostly clear, seeing was moderate to excellent, and everything worked well except the things we were messing around with anyway. The guider software has been left in a partly-usable state, with strangely familiar bugs; it may have been regressed back to the wrong version. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:00 fastcam2 -825(1805)* 175 70 1.5/1.2 213 13 - 0.76 22:11 NA2gdr 22000(61100)* 183 70 1.5/1.1 193 8 ND2 0.68 * The instrument zeropoint was changed after this measurement ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 41 8 8 282 (WNW) 279 cirrus none 17:01 40 8 7 295 (WNW) 225 cirrus none 18:01 36 7 7 276 (W) 149 ptly cldy none 19:01 34 6 7 221 (SW) 163 ptly cldy none 20:01 35 8 10 210 (SSW) 273 ptly cldy none 21:01 35 7 10 185 (S) 388 mstly clr none 22:01 35 6 11 213 (SSW) 390 mstly clr none 23:01 37 5 11 265 (W) 328 clear none 00:01 36 9 8 238 (WSW) 403 clear none 01:01 35 10 12 216 (SW) 315 clear none 02:01 34 11 14 204 (SSW) 535 clear none 03:01 35 10 18 200 (SSW) 480 clear none 04:01 36 13 18 211 (SSW) 629 clear none 05:01 34 9 18 200 (SSW) 549 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
