Second half had a couple minor 'hiccups'. The echelle guider crashed twice. First around 0100 and the second at 0600. The sky transparency dropped to unasable limits at 0330. We were able to reopen when the sky quickly cleared at 0600. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UC07 E I/H 00:55 01:00 NA1gdr crash UC07 E I/H 05:58 06:03 NA1gdr crash ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:31 dis-slit -150(754) 202 75 0.8/3.0 347 5 - 0.88 18:34 NA2gdr -3035(30064) 205 75 1.1/3.1 1 8 R+nd3 0.65 18:35 NA2gdr -3035(30064) 205 75 1.1/3.1 1 8 R+nd2 0.65 00:12 Echelle 41(6) -21 83 1.2/0.0 264 11 nd2 0.78 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 37 4 5 287 (WNW) 563 mstly cldy none 17:01 36 5 11 338 (NNW) 388 mstly cldy none 18:01 34 9 4 343 (NNW) 345 mstly cldy none 19:01 34 6 6 342 (NNW) 314 mstly cldy none 20:01 34 4 7 284 (WNW) 342 mstly cldy none 21:01 33 13 7 275 (W) 265 mstly cldy none 22:01 34 15 7 268 (W) 230 mstly cldy none 23:01 34 13 7 255 (WSW) 253 mstly cldy none 00:01 34 18 6 251 (WSW) 340 mstly cldy none 01:01 34 18 7 244 (WSW) 460 mstly cldy none 02:01 34 17 9 227 (SW) 400 mstly cldy none 03:01 33 17 11 234 (SW) 407 mstly cldy none 04:01 32 18 12 216 (SW) 415 mstly cldy none 05:01 32 20 15 222 (SW) 480 mstly cldy none 06:01 32 21 11 248 (WSW) 574 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
