No problems to report. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half was clear with very good seeing. Telescope and instrument behaved perfectly. A process went nuts on galileo and ate up all its memory, but this caused no problems with observing. Life was good. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:38 DISslit 100(1200) 191 81 4.5/7.8 319 9 - 1.08 19:15 NA2gdr 3264(34264) 229 77 4.2/6.5 310 7 R 0.70 19:22 DISslit -100(960) 327 64 4.3/6.1 301 8 - 1.02 19:26 NA2gdr -3460(27539) 326 64 4.3/6.0 312 10 R 0.78 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 47 25 10 267 (W) 1037 Clear none 17:01 47 24 11 275 (W) 853 Clear none 18:01 41 23 9 313 (NW) 904 Clear none 19:01 40 22 10 303 (WNW) 828 Clear none 20:01 40 22 8 312 (NW) 940 Clear none 21:01 41 20 9 314 (NW) 659 Clear none 22:01 41 20 7 337 (NNW) 626 Clear none 23:01 41 20 13 305 (NW) 570 Clear none 00:01 42 17 15 294 (WNW) 492 Clear none 01:01 42 19 18 295 (WNW) 691 Clear none 02:01 41 22 13 292 (WNW) 1016 Clear none 03:01 39 22 15 305 (NW) 1157 clear none 04:01 39 22 13 316 (NW) 1083 clear none 05:01 39 22 4 336 (NNW) 991 clear none 06:01 41 15 8 348 (NNW) 627 clear none 07:01 41 12 11 319 (NW) 500 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
