I tweaked it on the fly for the first half (both instrument and guider). The shutter on the slitview camera still was acting flakey but I don't know if it was better than last night or not. My observers didn't complain to much but I also told them just to take images and then next image would usually clear the problem. It also wasn't as cold tonight as last night. Humidity shut us down in the 2nd half around 03:40. We never re-opened. A very productive night sciencewise. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:42 DISSlit -210(517) 66 65 -3.7/-1.6 114 13 none 1.0 18:49 NA2gdr -8392(22607) 64 66 -3.8/-2.0 106 9 R 0.9 00:10 SPIcam 25(778) -92 71 -3.6/-4.1 176 16 6450 0.56 00:19 NA2gdr -475(36524) -92 70 -3.6/-4.0 175 15 R 0.58 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 30 15 1 200 (SSW) - Clear none 17:01 29 14 1 212 (SSW) - Clear none 18:01 26 14 1 128 (SE) - Clear none 19:01 25 5 12 108 (ESE) - Clear none 20:01 26 5 15 141 (SE) - Clear none 21:01 26 10 16 142 (SE) - Clear none 22:01 26 17 17 153 (SSE) - Clear none 23:01 26 18 15 174 (S) - Clear none 00:01 26 14 14 173 (S) - Clear none 01:01 25 17 14 171 (S) - Clear none 02:01 24 17 11 167 (SSE) - Clear none 03:01 23 18 12 169 (SSE) - Clear none 04:01 23 18 14 146 (SE) - Clear none 05:01 24 21 13 182 (S) - Cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
