Worked with one of the observers who will be using the telescope in a few days to get them up to speed on the current version of TUI. No other problems first half. 2nd half Observing Specialist: J.Dembicky My second half observer notices (I think the step function) in the red side of her image (obj.0004r.fits). The bottom 1/4 of the image was pretty messed up because of it (although her star spectra was in the middle of the image itself). Clouds came in around 01:15 and stopped observations. A hole appeared around 04:05 and we started again. That lasted about 20 mins before the clouds closed in again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:37 dis-slit -17(821) 160 77 6.8/8.7 24 12 - 1.12 00:06 DISslit 50(769) -10 57 5.4/4.8 318 13 none 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 47 1 10 43 (NE) 913 cloudy cirrus 17:01 45 -1 8 9 (N) 686 cloudy cirrus 18:01 44 -1 2 45 (NE) 429 cloudy cirrus 19:01 43 1 6 35 (NE) 374 cloudy cirrus 20:01 43 0 11 359 (N) 460 cloudy cirrus 21:01 43 1 9 4 (N) 668 cloudy cirrus 22:01 42 1 5 357 (N) 789 mstly cldy cirrus 23:01 41 2 3 336 (NNW) 720 Pt.
