Dembicky No problems 1st half NIC-FPS heaters turned off per Fred H. 2nd half started fine until the DIS slitview stopped working (all images returned 0 pixel values). After about 35 mins of trying to figure out what was going on I called Russet and she recommended using the old slitview program (which thankfully worked) as well as checking a couple other things for diagnosis on TUI. (Fritz: The exp time that was coming thru the TUI log was 5 seconds for the guider (not 0 seconds) so this is a bug of some sort. Unfortunately I can't give much of a diagnosis as to how to make it repeat since it just happened in the middle of a guiding sequence.) About 1 hr was lost to the problem. No problems after this. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- JH05 D I/S 00:45 01:45 DISslit returned all 0 pixel values on image. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:48 SPIcam -25(1018) -94 53 6.6/8.5 263 5 r' 0.76 17:58 NA2gdr -5460(27539) -94 51 6.6/8.3 258 6 R 0.9 22:41 SPIcam 50(840) 213 70 4.0/3.8 184 6 i' 1.20 22:43 NA2gdr -4361(28638) 214 70 4.3/3.7 185 7 R 1.15 00:00 DISslit 25(659) 173 63 4.1/3.3 227 12 none 1.4 00:09 NA2gdr -5687(23315) 175 63 4.2/3.3 254 8 R 0.75 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 45 22 6 184 (S) 635 Lt.
