At least one was heading in our direction, but slowly. I decided to open, but kept a close eye on the weather. The storm heading our way dissipated with the loss of sunlight, but after 21:00 the thin clouds that pestered us began to thicken. At the same time there was a wave of cold air and gusty winds, so we closed just before the humidity and wind went over the limit. And stayed that way. With some rain for good measure. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:18 DISslit -25(1251) 15 41 13.6/16.4 80 13 - 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 63 50 13 235 (SW) ptly cldy rain 17:01 54 46 11 82 (E) ptly cldy rain 18:01 57 44 7 96 (E) ptly cldy none 19:01 56 42 11 77 (ENE) mstly clr none 20:01 55 40 16 74 (ENE) ptly cldy none 21:01 55 40 21 60 (ENE) mstly cldy none 22:01 49 49 26 69 (ENE) cloudy fog 23:01 48 49 27 76 (ENE) cloudy rain 00:01 45 46 23 75 (ENE) cloudy rain 01:01 45 47 17 86 (E) cloudy rain 02:01 45 46 16 81 (E) cloudy fog 03:01 45 46 16 105 (ESE) cloudy fog 04:01 41 42 18 90 (E) cloudy fog 05:01 43 44 7 99 (E) cloudy fog Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
