Dembicky No problems. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half was fairly peaceful, with some niggling problems: poor tracking in azimuth that I couldn't ascribe to wind, a readout failure on one spicam image which recovered by itself afterward, a guiding failure when offsets collided, fascinating new (low-level) noise patterns on DIS. Nothing that cost significant time, just enough to keep me awake. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:37 DISslit -50(801) 61 68 6.5/8.7 260 12 none 1.1 18:45 NA2gdr -6393(22606) 58 69 6.4/8.5 264 11 R 0.7 01:13 SPIcam 175(1202) 276 28 6.4/5.5 266 11 r' 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 50 23 9 263 (W) 0 Clear none 17:01 49 24 12 266 (W) 0 Clear none 18:01 46 25 12 266 (W) 0 Clear none 19:01 44 24 13 243 (WSW) 0 Clear none 20:01 43 24 11 265 (W) 0 Clear none 21:01 43 22 15 264 (W) 0 Clear none 22:01 43 24 12 233 (SW) 0 Clear none 23:01 43 25 12 260 (W) 0 Clear none 00:01 42 25 10 265 (W) 0 clear none 01:01 43 25 9 268 (W) 0 clear none 01:01 43 25 11 241 (WSW) 0 clear none 02:01 43 26 8 271 (W) 0 clear none 03:01 43 26 11 268 (W) 0 clear none 04:01 43 25 10 307 (NW) 0 clear none 05:01 43 25 10 315 (NW) 0 clear none 06:01 43 25 8 291 (WNW) 0 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
