Dembicky Clouds and Humidity kept us closed until 22:30. At 23:15 the humidity went over the closure limit and it looked (on IR radar) that something was forming to our west and headed this way). I closed at 23:15, My observers didn't get any useful science because of the weather. Although the IR satellite images looked like the system was moving out (and clear skies would soon be here) the humidity stayed up near 100% for the 2nd half with fog and orographic clouds overhead. We called it a night at 05:30 as the humidity was still over the closure limits and there would not be enough useful time to get any science, if we could open. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:32 DISslit -50(748) 50 72 7.1/7.6 186 15 none 1.3 22:43 NA2gdr -8322(20677) 44 73 7.2/7.4 176 18 clear 0.7 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:03 50 37 19 197 (SSW) -- Mst.
