The multiple rub-with-paper-towels-and-wait-15-minutes tests on various outside surfaces aren't shown, nor is the sheen of dew, with rivulets, that formed on the INSIDE of the skin of the dome (fortunately on no other inside surfaces). The dome was opened and closed four times, and the cloud camera had to be wiped off and covered twice (we went through a lot of paper towels tonight). Seeing was probably fairly good in itself, but all the opening and closing and changing of fan states meant that we had trouble tracking focus, so we could rarely take advantage of the seeing. Still, we did get some science in between sessions of sitting around and groaning at the weather monitors. And all the equipment worked well, which was appreciated. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:04 cormass -25(1120) 204 49 8.6/11.7 142 14 K ?? 23:38 cormass 0(1027) 77 39 7.1/8.0 194 6 K ?? ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 56 40 14 212 (SSW) mstly clr none 17:01 52 39 6 204 (SSW) mstly clr none 18:01 49 40 9 206 (SSW) mstly clr none 19:01 47 38 13 141 (SE) mstly clr none 20:01 46 38 9 109 (ESE) mstly clr none 21:01 46 42 12 136 (SE) mstly clr none 22:01 45 44 10 134 (SE) mstly clr none 23:01 47 38 8 180 (S) mstly clr none 00:01 44 40 6 188 (S) mstly clr fog 01:01 43 40 5 251 (WSW) mstly clr none 02:01 44 38 5 215 (SW) mstly clr none 03:01 44 39 4 249 (WSW) mstly clr none 04:01 45 39 6 258 (WSW) mstly clr none 05:01 45 37 5 284 (WNW) mstly clr none 06:01 44 38 6 262 (W) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
