Most didn't last much longer than 15 mins and it was not exceptionally clear while they lasted either. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan We struggled through the clouds for a while, managing to get usable data on some bright targets but failing with anything halfway faint. We stayed open long enough for twilight flats, but didn't get any science after about 03:30. Everything worked well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:34 gfp 85(1346) 190 46 6.7/6.1 273 8 5800 0.78 23:37 NA2gdr 3077(36077) 192 46 6.7/6.1 270 10 R 0.87 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 45 2 12 268 (W) Cloudy none 17:01 45 1 15 299 (WNW) Cloudy none 18:01 45 1 14 270 (W) Cloudy none 19:01 46 6 12 265 (W) Cloudy none 20:01 44 1 8 261 (W) Cloudy none 21:01 45 5 9 268 (W) Cloudy none 22:01 44 2 9 264 (W) Cloudy none 23:01 44 7 8 268 (W) ptly cldy none 00:01 44 7 9 274 (W) ptly cldy none 01:01 44 7 12 291 (WNW) ptly cldy none 02:01 44 10 8 273 (W) ptly cldy none 03:01 45 9 4 267 (W) mstly cldy none 04:01 44 7 10 273 (W) mstly cldy none 05:01 45 7 9 263 (W) mstly cldy none 06:01 45 7 7 266 (W) ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
