Nice night. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half started with clear skies and moderate seeing. We had some intermittent troubles with the DIS slitviewer shutter, but it always recovered after one or two images so it cost very little time. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFNVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:59 nicfps 100(1248) 198 80 -2.4/-0.4 0 14 2.12um 0.67 19:03 nicfps 0(1193) 137 42 -2.2/-1.9 341 10 2.12um 0.90 21:23 nicfps 100(1197) 277 60 -1.8/-2.4 340 11 2.12um 0.49 00:18 DISslit 25(694) 56 66 -1.7/-2.6 21 7 - 1.35 00:21 NA2gdr -908(30091) 56 67 -1.8/-2.7 18 6 R 1.25 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 29 20 4 4 (N) Clear none 17:01 28 21 14 15 (NNE) Clear none 18:01 28 20 13 7 (N) Clear none 19:01 28 20 11 30 (NNE) Clear none 20:01 29 19 9 6 (N) Clear none 21:01 29 18 17 2 (N) Clear none 22:01 30 18 13 15 (NNE) Clear none 23:01 28 19 12 1 (N) Clear none 00:01 27 17 0 291 (WNW) Clear none 01:01 29 18 4 1 (N) clear none 02:01 29 17 11 43 (NE) clear none 03:01 32 5 5 210 (SSW) clear none 04:01 32 5 7 189 (S) clear none 05:01 31 10 7 196 (SSW) clear none 06:01 31 9 8 180 (S) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
