We had a minor mounting problem with DIS that showed itself during checkout (The mount did not set correctly on the mushrooms which caused the instrument not to want to rotate properly.) Jon D and I dis-mounted the instrument and then remounted it and all was well again. I adjusted focus thru the night by monitoring the guider focus and slitview images. Everything ran smoothly tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:15 DISslit 325(1732) 55 70 11.3/14.6 210 11 none 1.10 20:18 NA2gdr -2689(28310) 55 70 11.4/14.6 203 10 R 1.04 01:02 DISslit 25(1268) -18 51 9.5/9.5 289 9 none 1.12 01:07 NA2gdr -1213(29786) -20 50 9.3/9.4 272 7 R 0.81 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 60 45 21 217 (SW) 332 Pt.
