Opened at 19:50 to cool after Nicole finished cals with the dome dark. First half was calm with decent seeing. Just before the handover at 01:00, Nicole reported that her slitview would freeze if she tried to change the screen stretch of the images in the display client to better see the slit with a short exposure. After fighting it for about 15 minutes, she gave up as it was right at the very end of the half. Second half was similarly quiet with usually good seeing. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:50 DISslit 0(1705) 173 80 16.9/21.7 173 5 - 0.88 19:57 NA2gdr -1795(29204)182 80 16.3/21.4 111 9 R 0.79 01:10 dis-slit 75(1526) 185 52 14.8/14.5 114 9 - 0.99 01:12 NA2gdr -1906(29093)186 52 15.0/14.6 110 8 R 0.71 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 71 29 2 240 (WSW) 538 PtlyCldy none 17:01 70 28 8 233 (SW) 530 PtlyCldy none 18:01 71 30 7 236 (SW) 477 PtlyCldy none 19:01 66 27 3 220 (SW) 554 MstlyClr none 20:01 61 31 12 112 (ESE) 640 Clear none 21:01 60 34 10 89 (E) 623 Clear none 22:01 59 35 11 119 (ESE) 619 Clear none 23:01 58 35 10 96 (E) 720 Clear none 00:01 58 35 7 100 (E) 681 Clear none 01:01 58 35 9 108 (ESE) 644 Clear none 02:01 59 36 6 105 (ESE) 658 Clear none 03:01 59 35 2 152 (SSE) 643 Clear none 04:01 60 33 0 220 (SW) 583 Clear none 05:01 59 33 2 127 (SE) 611 Clear none 06:01 58 36 5 93 (E) 585 Clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
