The first half was quiet with good seeing (better than 0.8 arcseconds FWHM in R) on the guider. We had passing waves of clouds toward the middle to end of the half. CorMASS was fairly well-behaved. Second half was similarly quiet. No obvious sign of the recent noise on the red side of DIS. Clouds calmed down after the shift change and the skies were largely clear after about 02:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:03 cormass -35(1567) -89 66 15.8/16.6 252 15 K 0.45 (*) 21:10 NA2gdr -2000(32000)-88 65 15.7/16.5 240 17 R 0.78 01:39 DISslit 0(1426) 31 77 15.9/15.3 263 13 - 0.89 01:43 NA2gdr -4000(27000)29 77 15.6/15.4 233 17 R 0.91 (*) This is a crude estimate based on eyeballing the slitviewing mode ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 67 36 14 262 (W) MstlyClr none 17:01 68 35 16 263 (W) MstlyClr none 18:01 67 34 9 278 (W) MstlyClr none 19:01 64 31 13 262 (W) MstlyClr none 20:01 60 28 13 257 (WSW) MstlyClr none 21:01 60 28 15 253 (WSW) MstlyClr none 22:01 60 30 14 251 (WSW) PtlyCldy none 23:01 61 29 15 255 (WSW) PtlyCldy none 00:01 61 28 9 261 (W) PtlyCldy none 01:01 61 28 12 259 (W) PtlyCldy none 02:01 60 25 10 255 (WSW) PtlyCldy none 03:01 60 22 10 269 (W) MstlyClr none 04:01 59 21 14 285 (WNW) Clear none 05:01 59 22 14 282 (WNW) Clear none 06:01 58 25 13 293 (WNW) Clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
