This was successful in keeping the dust counts low inside the dome, so we were able to work for several hours until the dust spiked up again after 01:30. It didn't show any signs of dropping before morning. We had a little trouble with an apparent communications slowdown in the evening, but that cleared itself up and everything went smoothly from then on. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:38 Echelle 83(1039) -52 70 18.9/21.4 182 7 ND2 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 74 26 16 285 (WNW) 5585 mstly clr dust 17:01 73 26 17 272 (W) 5272 mstly clr dust 18:01 73 27 10 272 (W) 4632 mstly clr dust 19:01 72 26 12 261 (W) 3631 mstly clr none 20:01 66 26 5 204 (SSW) 3417 mstly clr none 21:01 66 25 9 181 (S) 3012 mstly clr none 22:01 65 24 4 187 (S) 2860 mstly clr none 23:01 63 27 13 163 (SSE) 3221 mstly clr none 00:01 62 28 16 158 (SSE) 3662 mstly clr none 01:01 61 27 18 153 (SSE) 3467 ptly cldy none 02:01 60 31 16 168 (SSE) 7638 ptly cldy dust 03:01 58 32 19 135 (SE) 7209 ptly cldy dust 04:01 57 32 17 160 (SSE) 11161 ptly cldy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
