By the time the dust dropped, most of the clouds were disappearing as well. We still had a telescope well out of equilibrium due to the lack of cooling during the dust storm, but it was easy enough to follow the focus up from -250 to 0 over the course of two and a half hours. Everything worked perfectly. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:45 DISslit -250(1068) 11 70 10.9/12.5 217 15 - 1.07 01:47 NA2gdr -3780(43219) 10 70 10.9/12.4 188 11 R 0.99 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 59 24 10 303 (WNW) 923 mstly cldy none 17:01 64 25 2 265 (W) 1017 mstly cldy none 18:01 65 25 12 274 (W) 909 mstly cldy none 19:01 63 24 6 250 (WSW) 863 mstly cldy none 20:01 57 25 4 253 (WSW) 934 mstly cldy none 21:01 54 31 20 144 (SE) 1002 mstly cldy none 22:01 53 33 14 183 (S) 4718 mstly cldy none 23:01 51 34 15 179 (S) 11074 mstly cldy dust 00:01 52 33 15 184 (S) 4221 ptly cldy none 01:01 51 33 11 180 (S) 2763 ptly cldy none 02:01 51 33 13 228 (SW) 1486 mstly clr none 03:01 51 33 10 181 (S) 1774 mstly clr none 04:01 51 33 9 181 (S) 1005 mstly clr none 05:01 50 33 10 177 (S) 930 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
