We re-opened as twilight officially ended and got some good data on Venus while the solar-driven clouds dissipated. Later, orographic clouds caused some difficulty, but we never had to re-close. Pointing was excellent, and everything worked well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:02 GrIm2(f/10) 50(1698) -70 21 13.7/15.4 307 10 Kcont 0.77 22:20 DISslit 50(1476) -37 52 13.4/13.9 346 6 - 1.05 22:24 NA2gdr -2250(44749) -38 52 13.2/13.9 11 4 R 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 67 20 20 267 (W) 941 ptly cldy none 17:01 66 21 11 266 (W) 934 ptly cldy none 18:01 62 21 15 271 (W) 932 ptly cldy none 19:01 59 22 5 292 (WNW) 920 ptly cldy none 20:01 58 21 8 334 (NNW) 1192 ptly cldy none 21:01 57 24 13 317 (NW) 1240 ptly cldy none 22:01 56 25 2 356 (N) 1263 mstly clr none 23:01 56 26 7 349 (NNW) 1191 mstly clr none 00:01 56 26 4 356 (N) 1120 mstly clr none 01:01 56 25 6 346 (NNW) 1193 ptly cldy none 02:01 56 25 8 354 (N) 1232 ptly cldy none 03:01 55 25 8 307 (NW) 1249 ptly cldy none 04:01 54 26 8 269 (W) 1266 ptly cldy none 05:01 53 26 8 237 (WSW) 1262 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
