There was some confusion with the UT date displayed via REMARK on the Observers Mac. It kept switching +/- 1 hour in time throughout the night on its own. No time was really lost to this problem. At about 0440 the observer attempted to slew the telescope, I saw the command appear in the mc however about 5 minutes passed before the command was actually executed by the tcc. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- JH06 D T/S 04:40 04:45 Slew Issued - slow to execute ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:58 Echelle 16(749) 249 62 15.2/16.0 227 10 nd2 0.9 21:00 Echelle 9(744) 250 62 15.2/15.9 239 12 nd2 0.94 00:30 dis-slit 0(1460) 276 72 14.7/14.7 200 6 - 0.95 00:42 NA2gdr -4250(44850)276 71 14.7/14.5 187 4 R 1.04 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 62 14 15 319 (NW) 775 clear none 17:01 64 16 15 301 (WNW) 780 clear none 18:01 63 17 8 279 (W) 781 clear none 19:01 64 18 8 265 (W) 787 clear none 20:01 60 14 11 239 (WSW) 808 clear none 21:01 59 14 9 218 (SW) 901 clear none 22:01 60 14 16 217 (SW) 1000 clear none 23:01 58 12 13 186 (S) 926 clear none 00:01 58 13 11 188 (S) 1291 clear none 01:01 58 11 8 203 (SSW) 982 clear none 02:01 59 12 0 356 (N) 883 clear none 03:01 59 13 4 352 (N) 855 clear none 04:01 59 12 9 27 (NNE) 814 clear none 05:01 59 12 13 15 (NNE) 790 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
