Dembicky Dust conditions kept us closed until 20:45. Seeing was poor at the start of the night for the first couple of hours. I adjusted the focus off the guider. I checked it at around midnight and seeing was around 1.3 arc sec. The wind direction changed around 01:00 and the seeing degraded with it, between 2 - 3 arc sec. I tweaked the focus as best I could from the guider. Everything ran smoothly tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:45 DISslit -100(1049) 119 63 6.6/8.2 268 15 none 2.4 20:53 NA2grd -631(46368) 119 63 6.7/8.2 268 19 R 2.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 52 14 15 269 (W) 15 Mst.
