I started ventilating around 2000 when it looked like the humidity was going to stay below the limit. 2nd half Observing Specialist: J.Dembicky Clouds were off and on thru the time we were open. The threat from the East became too great, and we finally lost the image on the slitviewer around 02:10 and I decided to close. Around 03:10 the rain sensor went off although precip was very light. Humidity rose as well and that was what kept us closed for the remainder of the night. We gave up around 04:30. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:07 dis-slit 0(935) 212 75 2.9/3.8 45 17 - 1.2 23:10 NA2gdr 0(47000) 214 75 2.9/3.8 51 15 R 1.0 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 41 35 5 353 (N) - cloudy none 17:01 40 35 4 358 (N) - cloudy none 18:01 38 30 7 8 (N) - cloudy none 19:01 38 25 7 42 (NE) - cloudy none 20:01 37 30 3 357 (N) - cloudy none 21:01 36 29 4 23 (NNE) - cloudy none 22:01 37 30 12 9 (N) - cloudy none 23:01 37 27 15 42 (NE) - mstly cldy lt cirrus 00:01 37 24 12 72 (ENE) - pt. cldy none 01:01 38 22 13 78 (ENE) - pt. cldy none 02:01 38 24 19 74 (ENE) - mstly cldy none 03:01 37 27 19 68 (ENE) - cloudy none 04:01 35 30 11 80 (E) - pt. cldy none 05:01 32 31 22 71 (ENE) - pt. cldy none 06:01 32 30 32 71 (ENE) - pt. cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
