Skies were full of moderately thick cirrus which dissipated toward 21:00. Altogether quiet first half. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half was mostly clear but with a few waves of thin cirrus. Seeing started out very good, then deteriorated to moderate; later observations were all made at high airmass and therefore hard to judge. Everything went very smoothly. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:58 DISslit 150(1106) 164 80 4.1/4.4 188 12 - 0.97 18:59 NA2gdr -329(46670) 165 80 4.1/4.4 188 12 R 0.88 00:37 SPIcam 60(1213) 202 47 4.2/3.6 225 18 r 0.75 00:39 NA2gdr 867(49867) 203 47 4.2/3.7 206 16 R 0.93 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 42 18 12 210 (SSW) MstlyCldy none 17:01 40 17 14 214 (SW) MstlyCldy none 18:01 37 11 9 181 (S) MstlyCldy none 19:01 39 -2 15 202 (SSW) MstlyCldy none 20:01 38 1 18 207 (SSW) MstlyCldy none 21:01 38 1 15 192 (SSW) MstlyClr none 22:01 37 11 15 197 (SSW) MstlyClr none 23:01 38 11 15 184 (S) Clear none 00:01 39 10 15 190 (S) Clear none 01:01 40 9 17 213 (SSW) mstly clr none 02:01 37 14 15 194 (SSW) mstly clr none 03:01 36 15 13 180 (S) clear none 04:01 36 15 16 200 (SSW) mstly clr none 05:01 36 15 9 184 (S) mstly clr none 06:01 37 16 12 181 (S) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
