The dust kept us closed until after 20:00, when diminishing winds brought the dust levels down with them. Clouds rolled in later toward the end of first half; otherwise, all was quiet. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: W.Ketzeback Clouds cleared for 2 hours from about 0130 to 0230 and then got gradually thicker until we closed early at 0515 due to opaque conditions. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:31 DISslit -200(632) 160 79 -0.4/1.5 293 19 - 1.29 20:36 NA2gdr -6094(40905)166 79 -0.4/1.2 298 18 R 1.22 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 37 12 15 276 (W) MstlyClr none 17:01 37 12 12 272 (W) MstlyClr none 18:01 34 13 16 265 (W) MstlyClr none 19:01 32 14 13 302 (WNW) MstlyClr none 20:01 32 16 16 273 (W) PtlyCldy none 21:01 31 17 19 302 (WNW) PtlyCldy none 22:01 30 17 18 307 (NW) PtlyCldy none 23:01 32 17 22 329 (NNW) PtlyCldy none 00:01 31 17 12 334 (NNW) MstlyCldy none 01:01 30 17 10 2 (N) mstly cldy none 02:01 29 17 17 7 (N) mstly cldy none 03:01 30 13 7 9 (N) clear none 04:01 29 13 8 0 (N) mstly cldy none 05:01 31 9 2 28 (NNE) cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
