We were kept closed first by high humidity and later by winds above 20 mph; I could hear ice falling at intervals over the intercom and so was not tempted to make an exception. I had some difficulty moving the high gratings at the program changeover, because of the cold. I eventually got them into position through a combination of lying and cajoling, but the motors will need recalibration as soon as the weather warms a little. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 11 8 31 5 (N) mstly cldy blown snow 17:01 10 8 14 59 (ENE) mstly cldy blown snow 18:01 9 7 14 15 (NNE) ptly cldy blown snow 19:01 9 4 24 359 (N) mstly clr blown snow 20:01 10 5 14 5 (N) mstly clr blown snow 21:01 10 5 16 358 (N) mstly clr blown snow 22:01 10 3 17 8 (N) mstly clr blown snow 23:01 11 1 9 3 (N) mstly clr blown snow 00:01 12 1 20 11 (N) mstly clr blown snow 01:01 13 0 18 22 (NNE) mstly clr blown snow 02:01 13 -1 15 17 (NNE) mstly clr blown snow 03:01 13 -1 15 23 (NNE) mstly clr blown snow 04:01 13 -1 13 3 (N) mstly clr blown snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
