We stayed open as much as we could however the data collected second half was not very useful. The observer also had a great deal of difficulties running slitview remotely tonight. The cause of which we never were able to isolate. Some very unusual behavior of the program freezing after telescope offsets as well as other difficulties with the centroiding algorithm could not be repeated locally. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:49 dis-slit -100(872) 167 77 4.0/4.7 218 11 - 1.12 21:38 dis-slit -60(970) 137 36 3.2/3.0 201 17 - 1.09 21:41 NA2gdr -605(30394) 138 36 3.0/3.1 246 14 R 1.6 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 40 1 11 207 (SSW) 0 mstly cldy none 17:01 38 -1 6 247 (WSW) 0 mstly cldy none 18:01 39 -3 12 209 (SSW) 0 mstly cldy none 19:01 39 -7 14 224 (SW) 0 mstly cldy none 20:01 39 -4 13 225 (SW) 0 mstly cldy none 21:01 38 -4 15 227 (SW) 0 mstly cldy none 22:01 38 -6 12 228 (SW) 0 mstly cldy none 23:01 39 -6 14 227 (SW) 1 mstly cldy none 00:01 38 -7 12 214 (SW) 0 mstly cldy none 01:01 38 -1 18 238 (WSW) 3 mstly cldy none 02:01 39 3 18 244 (WSW) 2 mstly cldy none 03:01 39 2 13 266 (W) 1 mstly cldy none 04:01 39 5 15 250 (WSW) 0 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
