Things looked promising early in the night, with few clouds in the sky around sunset. We observed for nearly three hours until the clouds became too thick to find our targets through, and we stopped at 21:00. No precipitation was indicated on radar in the area, so we opted to stay open should any holes appear. The clouds continued thickening, and we did no further science. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGNDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:43 nicfps 215(1360) -11069 2.9/3.9 173 15 Ks 0.50 18:00 NA2gdr 8697(45697) -94 73 2.7/3.6 174 16 R 0.65 18:50 nicfps 325(1477) -14151 2.8/2.8 166 17 J 0.78 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 40 5 12 180 (S) 47 PtlyCldy none 17:01 37 2 10 163 (SSE) 29 PtlyCldy none 18:01 37 0 14 178 (S) 23 PtlyCldy none 19:01 37 -2 12 170 (S) 18 PtlyCldy none 20:01 36 -1 12 172 (S) 38 PtlyCldy none 21:01 35 0 12 176 (S) 56 MstlyCldy none 22:01 37 -2 9 180 (S) 66 MstlyCldy none 23:01 36 0 10 124 (SE) 56 MstlyCldy none 00:01 38 -3 11 183 (S) 35 MstlyCldy none 01:01 35 0 10 210 (SSW) 52 MstlyCldy none 02:01 36 0 9 235 (SW) 57 MstlyCldy none 03:01 38 5 10 223 (SW) 94 MstlyCldy none 04:01 39 5 17 231 (SW) 70 MstlyCldy none 05:01 39 2 15 232 (SW) 48 MstlyCldy none 06:01 38 2 11 231 (SW) 72 MstlyCldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
