There were two slitviewer ICC crashes, but both occurred in the middle of exposures and lost us no time. After the program changeover, while the second half person was taking some cals, I made use of the time to get a Shack-Hartmann measurement. The spherical aberration is still a little higher than usual, but not grossly elevated. I still think something more is going on than just thermal disequilibrium. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:41 Echelle 78(38) 196 77 -1.4/-0.2 264 11 clear 1.21 00:00 Echelle -14(-106) 152 57 -1.9/-2.4 318 13 ND1 1.2 00:16 S-H -120(1278) 179 62 -1.9/-2.3 324 13 - good ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 33 0 7 261 (W) 187 clear none 17:01 29 -10 11 269 (W) 146 clear none 18:01 29 -17 13 266 (W) 88 clear none 19:01 31 -13 11 305 (NW) 133 clear none 20:01 30 -8 17 287 (WNW) 194 clear none 21:01 30 -5 15 290 (WNW) 198 clear none 22:01 30 -11 15 301 (WNW) 170 clear none 23:01 29 -15 8 300 (WNW) 131 clear none 00:01 28 -15 8 321 (NW) 126 clear none 01:01 29 -16 12 297 (WNW) 123 clear none 02:01 30 -14 18 310 (NW) 150 clear none 03:01 30 -11 14 312 (NW) 141 clear none 04:01 30 -13 12 325 (NW) 158 clear none 05:01 30 -15 11 315 (NW) 146 clear none 06:01 30 -16 10 323 (NW) 149 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
