We closed for a while due to the clouds and odd dewpoint behavior. Once we were able to open, everything worked smoothly. The skies became photometric once more. Seeing was variable throughout the night, ranging from subarcsecond to, um, superdualarcsecond? ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:03 DISslit -50(1022) 174 57 4.9/6.1 264 15 - 1.35 21:33 DISslit -50(941) 213 47 1.9/3.2 271 19 - 2.2 00:45 SPIcam 0(987) -15145 -0.7/-0.4 351 9 6590 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 45 25 26 248 (WSW) 547 clear none 17:01 42 25 18 258 (WSW) 417 clear none 18:01 41 25 22 265 (W) 412 ptly cldy none 19:01 40 20 22 265 (W) 512 cloudy none 20:01 37 20 26 275 (W) 458 cloudy none 21:01 36 32 27 276 (W) 293 ptly cldy none 22:01 35 22 11 272 (W) 563 clear none 23:01 33 23 15 340 (NNW) 590 clear none 00:01 31 22 19 1 (N) 458 clear none 01:01 31 21 18 347 (NNW) 301 clear none 02:01 32 17 12 306 (NW) 194 clear none 03:01 33 10 10 335 (NNW) 78 clear none 04:01 32 12 15 358 (N) 105 clear none 05:01 32 12 1 280 (W) 98 clear none 06:01 31 14 16 8 (N) 99 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
