My observer showed up around 17:00 and the skies had improved. We opened around 17:30 and I proceeded to focus. The seeing was a bit variable at about 1.5 - 2.0 arc sec. Of course clouds started to roll back in just as I finished the focus run. Clouds shut us down around 20:30. We gave up around 04:00 when it looked pretty hopeless at opening. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:50 DISslit -125(1277) 50 39 9.6/11.8 333 11 none 1.8 17:53 NA2gdr 1416(32416) 49 39 9.6/11.8 330 13 R 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 54 -3 6 275 (W) 39 Mst.
