I refocused the telescope before the start of the UC01 program with excellent seeing both with DISslit and the guider. The first GMech remap (due to a misaligned filter wheel causing field vignetting) resulted in worse vignetting and the apperent focus of the guider was off by what appeared to be thousands of steps (we saw big dougnuts on the guider). We did a secodn GMech remap and it seemed to go away. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:31 DISslit 0(1285) 77 65 9.6/11.4 308 9 none 0.8 18:30 DISslit 50(1364) 40 44 10.2/10.6 307 10 none 0.86 18:36 NA2gdr -589(30410) 38 45 9.8/10.5 280 10 R 0.67 23:31 DISslit 25(1258) 32 52 10.3/8.9 348 4 none 1.5 23:38 NA2gdr -1413(29586) 30 52 10.3/8.9 328 5 R 1.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 50 -3 4 236 (SW) 106 Pt.
